Consider these scripture verses, directly from Yahuahshua, regarding the timing of the Great Tribulation and specifically how it will start.

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day
(The Tribulation) come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth." Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:34-36 NKJV

This event is very unique among the history of worldwide calamities; including the last two World Wars; because all of the people on earth will be ensnared - at the same time!  Trapped, in something that is inescapable. In my mind, the only thing that truly unites the modern day world as a Global community, is the Global economy. Based on that premise I ask you, is the snare which is being tripped to trap its prey, a worldwide economic collapse?
Take notice, there is a group of people who will escape all of these things.

The 2nd Exodus (The Exodus from the Tribulation)

And as it was in the days of Noah...., Luke 17:26

Noah and his family were told to enter the ark, seven days before it began to rain.

And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him,... Gen 7:7 KJV

Then the flood commenced.

And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. Gen 7: 10 KJV

The seven day period in which Noah waited, is a simile for the seven year tribulation.
After the flood, Noah and his family stepped out from the ark onto a new earth.
So shall it be after the Great Tribulation.

The purpose of this study is to challenge your understanding of end times prophecy.
It is titled "The Second Exodus" because I see among the many end times prophecies, a certain parallel between the first Exodus from Egypt, and the second Exodus that will take place before "the great and dreadful day of Yahuah." (Mal 4:5)
When the first Exodus occurred, the Hebrews were released from their bondage as slaves.
When the second Exodus occurs, we will be released from the bondage of this world, and our bodies of sin and death.

This presentation is not meant to be the "final authority" on end times prophecy. In fact, I'm very much still in the discovery phase of examining these prophecies to have a better understanding. I'm putting this brief essay "out there" just to get input from other believers.

In my opinion, teachers and preachers in the past have gotten into trouble trying to interpret prophecy "out of season." End times prophecy was meant to be interpreted by those who are living in the last days. If you believe we are in the last days, study and pray for insight into these prophecies. Yahuah will make them known to you.

As for me, I see little bits and pieces of a much larger picture puzzle. Yet, even when you see only a portion of the bigger picture, it changes your understanding and your expectations.
Do not
place yourself in a theological box, where you must define your position based on whether you believe in a pre, mid, or post tribulation viewpoint. The truth is, there are good arguments for all three points of view when taken individually. But each time a person tries to promote a single stance, such as the  pre-tribulation rapture of all saints, other scripture verses that point toward another possibility must be ignored or explained away. Therefore, there must be one correct explanation that reconciles everything else. Just as there is only one truth.

Part 1
The First Exodus

The first Exodus was a seven day event.
Pharaoh sent Moses and Aaron away "in the night," on the day of the first Passover.
Similarly, we are also reminded that he will come for us "as a thief" in the night. Not like when he comes in power, at the end of the tribulation, for all the world to look upon "him whom they have pierced."

He came for the Hebrews  "as a thief" because Pharaoh thought the Hebrews were his personal property, not to be stolen away by some God he had no knowledge of.
In the same way Yahuahshua (Christ) will remove those whom Satan has no right to claim as his property.

It was on that night, the first day of the Exodus, the people were set free by the hand of Yahuah. On the morning of the fourth day, Yahuah drowned their enemy in the Red Sea. At the end of their seven day journey, they arrived at Uleem, and rested beside 12 fresh water wells and 70 palm trees.
"Ul-eem" in the archaic Hebrew (not to be confused with Ul-heem) means "many mighty ones," which is the entire angelic host. It is also symbolic of the place where all of Yahuah's elect will meet together, at the end of the tribulation.
The 70 palm trees represent the Hebrew oral traditional regarding the number of Yhwh’s counselors (the watchers, cherubim, and seraphim.) This is why they chose the number 70 as the number of elders (under Moses in Ex 24), which later became the Sanhedrin. The 12 wells of fresh spring water are the wells of salvation, the living waters,

"Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." Isa 12:3 KJV

"For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters:..." Rev 7:17 KJV

They are also symbolic of the 12 foundations of the new Jerusalem...

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from Yahuah,......And the wall of the city had twelve foundations,......Rev 21:10-19

.....which extend through the 12 dimension of Yhwh’s creation.

Just as the letters of His name can be arranged in 12 different ways, to spell 12 different words, indicating His presence in all 12 dimensions of His creation.

YHWH, YHHW, YWHH, WHYH,
WYHH, WHHY, HWHY, HYHW,
HHWY, HHYW, HWYH, and HYWH.

On the first day of their seven day journey, the Hebrews are set free in the middle of the night..
Will this occur during the second Exodus, beginning on the first day of the tribulation (or thereabouts)?

For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of Yahuah so comes as a thief in the night. 1 Thess 5:2-3 NKJV

Between the third and fourth day, they come through the water, and crossed over to the "other side." While a casual reading of the scriptures may simply indicate "the other side" of the Red Sea, I believe there is more here than meets the eye.  The other side may very well have been another dimension. There are scripture verses that indicate, some of the normal processes of time (such as decay) were suspended while the Hebrews were on "the other side." Other processes were not ( the people still aged 40 years).

Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. Deut 8:4-5 NKJV

Normal wear and tear did not occur while traveling in the wilderness, on the other side of the Red Sea. But once they crossed over the Jordan River (heading west from the wilderness) and camped at Gilgal, they ate of the produce of the land, and the next day the manna from heaven ceased (Exodus 5:11).

And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan Ex 16:35 NKJV

The word "manna" in Hebrew actually means, "whatness." It became known as the "manna from heaven," because they didn't know what to call it; it was not of this world.

There is an interesting aspect of the first Exodus regarding the geography of this area I believe this is significant, and will play a part in the 2nd Exodus. You can divide their journey into two sections (east and west) by drawing a north-south line (meridian) approximately 35 degrees, 30 minutes, and 20 seconds  East Longitude - directly over the center of Sea of Galilee, down the Jordan River to the Salt (or Dead) Sea. Then continue south until you extend that line to the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea). During the first Exodus, the Hebrews approached this line from the west (Egypt). Once they crossed over that line (to the east side), they were in "the wilderness," where their garments did not wear out, and they ate manna from heaven. Forty year later after Moses had died, and Joshua became their leader, they crossed back over to the west side of that meridian to attack Jericho. When they did, the manna from heaven ceased, and they began to eat the produce of the land.
I can't explain the science behind my suspicions, but some sort of anomaly occurred that enabled them to be on the earth, but not entirely subject to the laws of physics. A place subject to time, but separate in some degree from this physical world.

For example, in John 6:17-21, when the disciples were caught in a storm on the Sea of Galilee, and Yahuahshua walked out to them on the water, the scriptures say that as soon as Yahuahshua stepped into the boat, they were immediately to the other side. To put that into perspective, at that geographic point, the Sea of Galilee is 8 miles wide. When Yahuahshua stepped into the boat, they were in the middle of the Sea (or 4 miles out). But once He stepped into the boat, they instantly traveled the remaining 4 miles. The center of the Sea of Galilee is located on that same meridian [E35 30'20"]

[Notice that only two men from the original group that left Egypt during the Exodus (Joshua and Caleb) lead the children of Israel into the promised land. I believe Joshua and Caleb are a likeness of the two witnesses from the Book of Revelation, who are resurrected in the middle of the tribulation. Their resurrection signals the beginning of the total and complete resurrection of all of the Saints of Yahuah. As it is written in the Epistle to the Hebrews, Yahuah provided something better (or unique) for us in the last days; that all those who have believed before us (beginning with righteous Abel) should not be made perfect (resurrected into a glorified or immortal body) apart from us.

The question is, what is the wilderness? And is this the same wilderness where Yahuah will hide his children during the tribulation?

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto Yahuah, and to his throne. And the woman fled (as in running) into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of Yahuah, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days (3 1/2 years). Rev 12:1-6 KJV

Notice in Revelation 12:6 (above) the woman "flees" by "running into the wilderness."
This woman represents more than just the birth mother of the Mashiyach (Yahuahshua). She also symbolizes her lineage, which are the descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel (YawsharUl). The Apostle John specifically points this out by "placing" the woman within the 1260 days of the first part of the tribulation.
Eight sentences later, in 12:14 (below) she is given "two wings" and "flies into the wilderness." What is the significance between running and flying?
By using the word "running" are the scriptures indicating that we will still have our feet on earth, while at the same time in another dimension?
After this, the use of the word "to fly" indicates leaving the earth and going into the spirit realm.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev 12:14 KJV

Notice also at this point the serpent mimics the work of Yahuah during the first Exodus, by spewing out water to drown the descendants of the woman:

And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:15-16

The true meaning of the next verse (below) is why I associate the woman of Rev 12:1 as being not only the birth Mother of HaMashiyach, but also a symbol of her end time descendants.

And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of Yahuah and have the testimony of Yahuahshua HaMashiyach. Rev 12:17 NKJV

The NKJ translators recognized a point in the context of this verse that the KJV translators missed.
The Greek word being used (#3062) loipoy not only means (as in the KJV) "the remnant of her seed," as in a general (or broad) sense of the word. But rather, this word is better translated to mean "the rest of her offspring," which points to the net result in a series of actions.  In other words, the dragon first tries to eliminate the woman's promised offspring (the Mashiyach) which fails; so he tries to persecute her (or some of her other children) which also fails when they flee into the wilderness. When the Dragon is thrown down to the earth, he continues his pursuit, and the woman (or some of her children) are given two wings to flee from the presence of the Dragon. At this point, verse 12:17 (shown above) states that the Dragon is still able to make war against a certain number of her remnant which are still present, in the physical realm, here on earth.

This series of events has to make one wonder (and contemplate);

Is there a group of believers that run into the wilderness for 3 ½ years at the start of the Tribulation; just like the Hebrews who ran from Egypt the first 3 ½ days of the Exodus, who are then given "spiritual wings" to cross over to "Uleem" (heaven) in the middle of the tribulation?

[Perhaps even this first group are joined by others in the middle of the Tribulation]

Just as the Hebrews crossed over the Red Sea in the middle of the Exodus?

And then finally, are there descendants left  here on earth, who during the remaining 3 1/2 years of the tribulation; are tested and tried; persecuted and killed for their testimony of Yahuahshua HaMashiyach?

[I don’t believe the earlier interpretations that say the offspring of the woman are 144,000. Messianic Jews living in Israel during the Great Tribulation. I believe the 144,000 is a reference to the Genome of the called out ones (the Elect); and specifically the genetic sequence that produces immortal life, which is hidden (and proprietary) information known only to the Father. This sequence is the SEAL of the self existent Creator.
Neither do I think of the ruins at Petra, in modern day Jordan, as the place where Yahuah will "hide" the offspring of Israel.]

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? Luke 15:4 KJV

This is a curious saying. Why would you leave your sheep in the wilderness, when the Hebrews had built look out towers for the Shepherds all over the plains of Galilee, Samaria, and Judea so they could watch over the pasturing sheep? Could the "one lost sheep" be a reference to the Saints who live through part of the tribulation in order to be refined (or perfected)?

Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. DaniUl 12:10

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahuah, and have the testimony of Yahuahshua HaMashiyach. KJV

The concept of some leaving while others stay for a period of time, could be the reason why we are admonished -

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things
(the Tribulation) that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36 KJV

In other words, there is a way of escape, if you are counted worthy.

This can also be the reason why the angel tells the Apostle John, " these arrayed in white robes..."
(Rev 7:14)  are the ones who come out (future progressive) of the great tribulation.

Why use the (Greek) future progressive tense? Because it means:

"these are the ones who come out, come out, and come out (progressively) over a period of time, (and possibly at different  intervals) during the tribulation.
For this reason I believe that some will taken at the start of  the tribulation, some during the tribulation, with the remainder of the Saints taken at the middle of the tribulation.

[Let me just say at this point, I don't mean to exclude the possibility that some may be taken during the final 3 1/2 years of the tribulation].

I believe there is a strong witness within the scriptures, that the second Exodus will occur in stages. Some believers are being prepared right now to cross the "watery divide" that acts as a doorway between two dimensions. Just as the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea.

[This is not to be mistaken with the theory commonly referred to as the rapture.]

This removal of the saints into the "wilderness" will fulfill this promise made by Yahuahshua:

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, [meaning force, power, or a miracle itself] and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie-- indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Rev 3:7-13 (NKJ)

Does Yahuahshua say that he will remove these people from this world, as in a heavenly rapture? No, he says that he will keep them from the hour of trial or the "hour of temptation."

I wrote about the Key of David in my book, "A Beautiful Delusion." In 1 Sam 19:10, the Hebrew  verb "pawtar" is translated in the verse below as "slipped away."

"And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.1 Sam 19:10
KJV"

"Pawtar" actually means "to cleave" or "burst through." In this case I believe that David possessed a "Key" (of knowledge or understanding) that allowed him to cleave (cut) this dimension in which we live, and "burst through" into another. Even though Saul through a javelin at David from across a room, it only stuck in the wall where David once stood.

The Feast of Tabernacles (or Booths) which is called Succoth in the Hebrew, is celebrated to commemorate the 7 day Exodus. In the evening of the first day, they left Egypt. Between the evening of the third day and the morning of the 4rth day, they crossed over the Red Sea. On the 7th day they reached their place of rest.

Are there going to be three separate visits made by Yahuahshua during the seven year tribulation period, which coincide with the seven day Feast of Sukkoth?
Let's suppose, for the sake of mere speculation, that he plans to make a private appearance at the beginning of the tribulation, to open the door for the "set apart" ones of the congregation at Philadelphia (Rev 3:7). Then a second appearance in the middle of tribulation, to resurrect his two witnesses, along with all of those the Father has given him out of this world, to completely and totally vacate the earth of the righteous in HaMashiyach.
Then a third return, when he will destroy the kingdom of Satan, and the Saints will inherit a new earth.

These scripture verses could contain an allegory for exactly that schedule of events;

After these things Yahuahshua walked in Galilee; for He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him. Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. His brothers therefore said to Him, "Depart from here (Galilee) and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing......(Yahuahshua said) I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come." When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.
But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

At the beginning of the feast Yahuahshua goes there secretly, to the place where his disciples and his brothers are. In  a similar way, he comes secretly at the beginning of the tribulation to hide his called out ones, which are "The Church at Philadelphia."

Then the Jews sought Him at the feast, and said, "Where is He?" And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said, "He is good"; others said, "No, on the contrary, He deceives the people."  However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.  Now about the middle of the feast
(3 1/2 days into the 7 day feast) Yahuahshua went up into the temple and taught. John 7:1-15 NKJV

Is this allegoric of his mid tribulation return for the resurrection? When in front of everyone in Jerusalem, he resurrects the two witnesses?

At the same time, in the middle of the tribulation,  Satan is cast out of Heaven and the "Great and Dreadful Day of Yahuah" begins!
Will there be any believers on the earth. Will anyone convert during the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation?

"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people-- everyone whose name is found written in the book-- will be delivered. Dan 12:1

Does this coincide with Rev 14:1?

Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads.  Rev 14:1 NKJV

The 144,000 being the genome for immortal life. In other words, as if to say, "and with Him are the immortals (the resurrected), having His Father's name written in their foreheads."

At this point I would like to make an important distinction that I have not made previously, but it is a point worth considering and being mindful of when reading Genesis and Revelation. The first Adam was given an immortal body, that should not have died, yet he never did reach out and eat of the tree of life to live as an eternal being. The second Adam (Yahuahshua) was born with an immortal body, which was then changed into an eternal body. There seems to be a certain progression that takes place whereby only an immortal body can inherit eternal life. Which leads me to wonder;

Are the fine linen garments given to the Saints (mentioned below) immortal life bodies? And the fine linen being referred to is actually a covering of light (energy)?
Could the marriage supper of the lamb be the point in time when our immortal bodies will become eternal? When we become one with our Creator and his Mashiyach, being joined together as one (like husband and wife) in eternal life?

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Yahuah. Rev 19:7-9 KJV

Notice above that his wife "makes herself ready." This is what we should be doing, at this place in time, making ourselves ready.

Continuing with Revelation, and the notion that the resurrection occurs at the mid point of the Tribulation;

And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Is this "new song" being played using the two notes missing since the beginning of Creation? The two notes that create the vibration needed to call together the genetic sequence for immortal life?

Notice that when Satan is thrown down to the earth; at the mid point of the Tribulation, that an angel is proclaiming the Gospel? This is a curious thing. Have you ever seen this before, when an angel (and not a man) is proclaiming the gospel. It makes me wonder, is there not a righteous man left on earth to proclaim the gospel?.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:1-6 KJV

Why is Satan cast down?

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of Yahuah, and the power of his Mashiyach: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our Ul day and night. Rev 12:10 KJV

The answer (in my mind) must be because there is no one for Satan to accuse anymore. We have all been perfected and live in the reign of Yahuah - in Heaven.

Notice the verb tense in the phrase, "which accused them." It is the simple active in a completed state (past tense). In other words, the time of accusing is over, there is no one for him to accuse.

This is his final appearing at the end of the tribulation

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

I believe that at the start (or just before the start) of the Great Tribulation,  we will see the "abomination that cause desolation" when we see the immortal man that Science has created through genetic engineering.

[ The original Hebrew words for the "abomination that makes desolate" alludes to this possibility.
The word translated for abomination (8251 shiqquwts) means filthy; especially idolatrous or (concretely) an idol.
The word being translated as "makes desolate" (8074 shamem) means to stun, devastate or (figuratively) stupefy (amaze and astonish).. In other words, the abomination that makes desolate is better translated as;

 "The amazing and astonishing idol."

What's so amazing?

He ( the false prophet) was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. Rev 13:14-15 NKJV

This idol is alive!

At the same time, the two witnesses will appear to decry the false claims of this creature (made in the image of the Beast).

There is some contention among theologians as to when these two witnesses appear, some saying they begin their ministry at the middle of the tribulation. However, when the two witnesses are killed; Rev 11:14  says:

The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly." Rev 11:13-14 (KJV)

There is still a  third woe (another 1260 days) left to take place.

One last comment on the comparison I made earlier about Joshua and Caleb being a likeness of the two witnesses who will lead the Saints in the resurrection and into the promised land.

The resurrection is the new flesh that we will put on to become immortal.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Cor 15:53 KJV

In like manner, before the children of Israel were able to cross over the Jordan into the promised land ( and camp at Gilgal) the men had to be circumcised;

And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they ( those who fled Egypt) had not circumcised them by the way (while in the wilderness). And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole. And Yhwh said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day. Josh 5:7-9 KJV

What is the reproach of Egypt (comparable to slavery)? It is none other than this body which we now bear, the body of corrupted flesh.
What is the destruction of Jericho symbolic of? It's symbolic of the annihilation of the wicked, just like the great battle at the end of the Great Tribulation, when all of Yahuah's enemies are destroyed.

This final event of the first Exodus is a simile for the second Exodus.

1. Joshua and the other Hebrews had their "flesh" removed in the wilderness before attacking Jericho (circumcision being a likeness for "putting off the old man with his deeds;" Col 3:9) Then;

"...on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.....when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for Yahuah hath given you the city....(only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.) [Read Joshua chapter 6]

2.  In like manner, the Saints in the "wilderness" during the Tribulation will be given a covering of fine linen (transforming their old bodies), and then accompany Yahuahshua in the final battle of the Great Tribulation;

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war... And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean...."Rev 19:11-19 KJV

[As I mentioned before, there is a possibility, if not a probability, that some believers will remain during the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation. The fact that Rahab and her family remained in Jericho right up until its destruction, could be a simile for those who will remain " in Jericho" right up until the battle of Armageddon and the last day.

Part 2

Part 1 was meant to be just a summary of an interpretation that I see developing involving certain events and aspects of the Tribulation. I can't emphasize enough that as our understanding and interpretation of events is brought to maturity (in accordance with Yahuah's schedule) that we must reconsider all former teachings; and  change our perception and expectations (as lead by the Spirit).

This verse has been interpreted in the past to mean, come out of modern day Babylon's system of false worship, even her Politics and Economic system (which we should all do)

I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Rev 18:4 KJV

But;.........what if it has an additional and practical meaning?
I ask this because even if I separate myself from Babylon's false religion, it's Politics of bondage and oppression, along with it's economic system of the Beast and the false prophet; how shall I escape her plagues if I am located geographically in the midst of Babylon? And what exactly is "her plagues?"

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yahuah Ul who judgeth her. Rev 18:8 KJV

It is to be "utterly burned with fire."

Perhaps the voice from heaven will be accompanied by the appearance of a door (or portal) into another dimension (or the heavens themselves) and that shall be our means of escape, our way of "coming out."
If it is, I can say assuredly, unless you expect to hear that voice and see that door, this occurrence may happen without you noticing.

You may be wondering, is this available to all believers, or just a few selected ones?
Since all believers are loved by Yahuah, what does one have to do to qualify for this?
I don't presume to know the answer to that question, but I do see something unique at work in the scriptures.

Why is it that among his Apostles and disciples, Yahuahshua seems to select Peter, James, and John on certain occasions, and not all of the others?

This occurred at the Transfiguration....

And after six days Yahuahshua taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, Matt 17:1 KJV

And at the Garden of Gethsemane.....

And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee (James and John), and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Matt 26:37 KJV

Also;

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, .....Mark 13:3 KJV

And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. Luke 8:51 KJV

There could be a number of reasons (known only to Yahuahshua) why this occurred,  but I have to wonder, perhaps these three just wanted to be with him more, maybe they even loved him more than the others; and it was (in part) their expectations that moved Yahuahshua to spend more time with them.
It could be, that in order to hear this voice and see this window; you must want nothing from this world;

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25 KJV

...then this world will have no hold over you;

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. John 14:30 KJV

As I stated before (in "A Beautiful Delusion") it appears to me that Adam, Eve, and Satan (along with the other fallen angels) all wanted "something else" besides Yahuah, and what he had provided for in his creation.
We must each ask ourselves, sincerely and wholeheartedly, what do I want?

The Menorah, a likeness of the 1st and 2nd Exodus?

When I read Revelation, I see its literary form as being similar to that of an essay. The first six chapters are a summary of the events leading up to the great and dreadful "Day of Yahuah."

[The first three chapters enumerate the spiritual condition of seven Congregations that existed in the first century, but there is a correlation and relevance for our day and time.]

After the summary of events, the narrative goes into the details of individuals events. But the most important factor to consider when ordering these events into a timeline,  is to recognize that each separate event has a time marker (so to say) which places that event - immediately leading up to and within the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation; or from the midpoint (or 1260 day mark) to the end of the seven years. It is under this interpretation that I categorize each event. The chart shown below compares some of the events of the 1st Exodus with similar events mentioned in NT writings.
As I continue to read and explore the Book, I found myself placing each event in one of those two categories.

The Beginning of the Exodus.

Though there is much symbolism surrounding the birth of Moses, his Royal upbringing, and eventual escape to Midian.
Consider the event that marked what could be called the beginning of the Exodus;

Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of Yahuah, even to Horeb.
And the angel of Yahuah appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
And when Yahuah saw that he turned aside to see, Yahuah called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.... Ex 3:1-4 KJV

Yahuah appears as a light in the desert, yet he says nothing (vocally) to Moses. It was not until Moses noticed, and then "turned aside" to investigate, did he hear the voice of Yahuah calling out, "Moses, Moses.."
I don't think that Moses had resigned himself to being a shepherd in Midian for the rest of his life. I believe he knew, and could actually sense the call of Yahuah on his life, that Yahuah had something for Moses to do. It could be that Yahuah choose this day and time, perhaps even while Moses was contemplating his situation, to initiate his mission.
Which is why it is imperative that we stay in a state of contemplation, because we have been instructed to;

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matt 25:13 KJV

Lest we miss seeing the sign, and do not "turn aside" to hear his voice;

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Rev 18:4 KJV

Yahuah then revealed to Moses a new revelation about his name. He was not just the Ul (or Mighty One) of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; that is to say three men that had once lived and then died. But rather, he is;

"... the Ul of Abraham, the Ul of Isaac, and the Ul of Jacob. Ex 3:6 KJV

He is the living Ul of the individual person known as Abraham; who had once lived, then died, yet never stopped being alive and present with him. Because Yaw, the Mighty One over Creation, is "self existent" (Yaw-hoo-ah), and never ending. Those who are called by his name, will never be separated from him. The same was true of Isaac and Jacob.

In like manner, before the second Exodus, I see Yahuahshua shedding light upon the Book of his Revelation, making known his name and the name of his Father; which has been hidden for centuries. Whoever will "turn aside" from the direction in which they are headed; will hear his voice calling their name.

As mentioned above, Yahuah first prepared his two witnesses (Moses and Aaron) and then sent them to Pharaoh.
In like manner, Yahuah will send his two witness (the two olive trees of Rev 11:4) at the beginning of the Tribulation. Their mission is to warn those who are left, who claim to be followers of Christ (the Messiah) about the plans of the anti-Christ and his false prophet, who have just now made themselves known. This group, "who is left" are the lukewarm believers of Rev 3:16, who;

"...sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:..." Rev 3:17 KJV

This group has been preoccupied with the things of this world, and did not hear the call of their Redeemer. They are the Church in Laodicea,  the seventh and last church addressed by Yahuahshua in the seven letters John wrote to the seven churches (in the Book of Revelation). They are left on earth after the sixth church (in Philadelphia) has left through "the open door."  This group of believers is "kept from" the Tribulation. (Rev 3:7).

Just as Pharaoh sent Israel away in the middle of the night, we are told to expect his coming, "as a thief in the night."

Notice some of the parallels between the two events (shown on the chart below):

[Keep in mind that this particular study is focused on the time intervals in which the Saints will leave the Tribulation; starting with the "Church at Philedelphia" which leaves at the beginning.]

As I mentioned before about the composition of Revelation, the main events are first summarized, then explained in more detail. Look for certain key points within each chapter that are mentioned (or extend)  into other chapters that create "a time marker," which places that event within the first or last 3 1/2 years of the Trib.

This is not a complete analysis of the Book of Revelation. It is only the beginning of a study.
My primary objective (in this study) is to point out certain similarities between the first Exodus second Exodus. Specifically, there is a group of believers who are going to be removed from this plain of existence at the beginning of the great Tribulation. Pray that you are worthy.

Then, there are others who  come out, and come out, and come out (in intervals) of the Tribulation, as indicated by the (Greek) future progressive tense of Rev 7.

The two columns below represent the two stages of the Great Tribulation.
Read what is in the left column first, and then what is listed to the right ( if anything).

This time period includes the time of Sorrows (before the Trib), leading up to the beginning of the Tribulation and the first 3 1/2 years.

This time period marks the Mid Point of the Tribulation and the final 3 1/2 years (including the end itself).

Letters to the Seven Churches

I count 21 congregations that existed in Asia Minor at the time of John's writing. Of those 21, only 7 were chosen to receive a letter. Those 7 roughly form a circle, beginning with Ephesus at the 7 o'clock position, going clockwise to Laodicea at the 5 o'clock position, with Pergamos at the 12 o'clock position. Pergamos (in the middle position) is called the "seat of Satan." This would coincide with the middle of the Trib when Satan is thrown down to earth. I see this seven point circle illustrating a certain course of events. [see map at bottom of page]

The Church at Philadelphia is told that it will be kept from the tribulation, but not necessarily removed from the earth (as in a rapture). I take this to mean that they will go through a portal (an open door) into another dimension, yet still be on the earth.
Just as John saw;

"....a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard.......said, Come up hither,..." Rev 4:1 KJV

The Seventh (and last) Church (Laodicea) is left on earth.

"Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and Yahuah has remembered her iniquities. Rev 18:4-6 NKJV

As I mentioned before, if the saying "Come out of her" only means to remove yourself from her system, how can you escape this judgment?

And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. Rev 17:16 NKJV

And...

Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is Yahuah Ul who judges her. Rev 18:8 NKJV

If indeed the plea "come out of her, my people,..." means to leave this earth, remember "Lot's wife" and do not look back. Take those with you whom you love and leave. There is nothing here for us, for we look forward to a city whose builder and maker is Yahuah Ul.

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Ul. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our Ul on their foreheads." And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
8 of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed. Rev 7:1-8 NKJV

[This 144,000 represent the genome of the children of Yahuah]

It seems to me that this must take place (the sealing of the servants of UL) before the 2nd,3rd, and 4rth Horseman of the Apocalypse go out, since they go out to "harm the earth."

Shown in the verses above, the four angels  are admonished to wait until the children of Yahuah are sealed before they harm the earth.

During this time period the "Church of Philadelphia" is hidden in the desert, waiting for the mid point of the Trib to "cross over" to the other side and sing the song of Miriam,

"the horse and rider he has thrown into the sea....Ex 15:20

Even though Satan.....

"...cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

[mimicking Noah's flood and the Red Sea drowning.....]

"... the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. Rev 12:15-16 KJV
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,...

[
Notice in Leviticus 23:40, that during the celebration of Sukkot, the feast commemorating the Exodus, the children of Israel were told to rejoice in their salvation by waving palm branches in their hands before Yahuah.]

....and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our Ul who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped Yahuah, saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our Yahuah Ul forever and ever. Amen."  Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of Yahuah, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And Yahuah will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Rev 7:9-17 NKJv

In this vision John's sees everyone (all creatures), including all of the angels before the throne.
Is this the same time when John sees the "marriage supper of the lamb" take place?

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto Yahuah our Ul: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped Yahuah that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our Ul, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for Yahuah our Ul omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.." Rev 19:1-9 KJV
[The opening of the seals began right after the resurrection of Yahuahshua, with the action of the FIRST seal being completed just before the "snare (of Luke 21) is tripped."]

THE FIRST SEAL
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Rev 6:2 KJV

Since it is Yahuahshua that is holding the scroll when the first seal is opened, I believe the rider of the white horse is the spirit of Yahuah, sent forth to lead those who are called by his name to his Mashiyach. Much of this was accomplished under the banner of Christendom, and the going forth of the gospel.
Notice that there is a point in time when this rider completes his conquest. I would say that time is now. The besora (good news) has been preached to the world.
At any moment now - the second rider may come forth!

THE SECOND SEAL
The second horseman (of the red horse) is given power to take peace from the earth so that men kill each other. Notice specifically here that "men kill each other." This is different than what happens with the fourth horseman, who are themselves given power to kill men. The second seals sounds like World War 3, with famine, starvation, disease and sickness following behind.

THE THIRD SEAL
The third horseman brings scarcity and famine, "a quart of wheat" for a days wages (but do not harm the oil and the wine). What is (or who are) represented by oil and wine?

THE FOURTH SEAL
The fourth horseman, death and Hades are themselves given power to kill men with the sword, hunger, and the beasts of the earth.

THE FIFTH SEAL
Those who are slain for the word of Yahuah, and their testimony
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahuah, and have the testimony of Yahuahshua HaMashiyach.. Rev 12:15-17 KJV

This saying (above) "the remnant of her seed" is what makes me consider the possibility that even after the mid point of the Trib, there are some left on earth who will "come out' before the end of it all.

Since I see a precise delineation in the scriptures between the mortal, immortal, and eternal body; I view the "white robes" given to the Saints (in the interim - before the marriage supper of the lamb) as an "immortal" body.

There seems to be a progression whereby immortality is converted to an eternal state.
The mortal person will be given an immortal body; until the marriage supper of the lamb, where he has said;

"To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of Yahuah."' Rev 2:7 NKJV

....signifying an eternal body.
  THE SIXTH SEAL - The Day of Yahuah.

"...there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" Rev 6:12-17 NKJV

The sixth seal signifies the beginning of the Day of Yahuah, which begins at the mid point of the tribulation, when Satan is thrown down to the earth.
Reaping the Earth's Harvest

[Notice the difference between the reaping of the earth's harvest (below) and the reaping of the grapes of wrath, show to the right. They describe two separate and distinct actions; the reaping of the righteous, and the reaping of the wicked]]

Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe."  So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Rev 14:15

Notice the one doing the reaping in these verses is Yahuahshua haMashiyach (the One like the Son of Man). He is "sitting" on a cloud, reaping the righteous from among the inhabitants of the earth. This is a passive reaping , signified by the fact that He is seated. His sickle is thrust in "on the earth," as in "the surface of the earth." The Greek word being used for "on" is #1909, epi (ep-ee') which is a primary preposition; properly, meaning  over and upon.

This reaping is of the Saints, or the "first fruits of the Saints."

Notice in the verses ( to the right), "another angel" came out of the temple having a sharp sickle. Then another angel comes out from the altar who has power over fire.

Reaping the Grapes of Wrath

Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying,

"Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe."

So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of Yahuah. And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses' bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs. Rev 14:14-20 NKJV

This is the punishment of the wicked. They are the grapes of wrath.

[As a side note, is this angel, the one who has power over fire the same angel who begins the calamities of the Tribulation (in Rev 8:5) by opening the seventh seal?]:

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. Rev 8:5 KJV]

These are some example of how the sequence of events (in Revelation) seem to fit in one of two categories.

Please add your comments and insights at the seekgod.us forum, under the category, "The Second Exodus."

Before I go on to Part 3; you must consider and resolve in your own mind, whether the Christian teaching of the Millennial rule is a true and accurate scriptural teaching; or a later insert from perhaps the second century. I ask this because personally I don't see how this "supposed" doctrine fits. There are too many scripture references as to the finality of Yahuah's actions, culminating with "The great and dreadful Day of Yahuah," at the end of the tribulation. Such as:

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. Rev 16:16-17 KJV

What is done? The final judgment of Yahuah? Or, is there a replay in a 1000 years? And what of the seventh trumpet?

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of Yahuah and of His Mashiyach, and He shall reign forever and ever!" Rev 11:15-16 NKJV

Did he forget about the millennium, when the kings of the earth rule for another 1000 years?
Should the angel who sounds the seventh trumpet wait  before making this announcement?

"We give You thanks, O Yahuah Ul,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth."  Rev 11:17-18 NKJV

This may sound like the end of Act 4 and the close of the Play, but there is yet another scene - the Millennium.
Or, is there?
Consider this:

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:8 NKJV

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:16-17 NKJV

Notice that there are only two types of people on the earth at this time, those who are sealed with seal of Yahuah, and those who are marked with the mark of Satan. What happens to all of those who take the mark?

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Yahuah, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Rev 14:9-11 KJV

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Rev 19:20-21 KJV

Since it appears to me that all of the wicked take the mark, and all of the wicked are destroyed, who then is left to rebuild the entire population of the earth over the next 1000 years?

Although for years I have questioned the validity of this teaching, I've never done an Internet search to see if there were others who felt the same way - until now. Sure enough, there has been much written about this very thing. Below is a link to the first site that came up:
