THEY WANT YOUR DNA

Cancer squad targets 'immortal' gene

A FAULTY gene that makes cancer cells immortal is the target of two gene therapy studies. The bcl-2 gene produces a protein that is also called bcl-2. If a cell generates too much bcl-2 it will not self-destruct when it malfunctions and may become cancerous.

The two research teams are tackling the problem in slightly different ways. While the British study will attempt to block the overproduction of bcl-2, the American researchers have managed to block the action of the protein once it has been produced.

"Bcl-2 is a survival molecule, and any cell that produces [enough of] it will survive," says Finbarr Cotter of the Institute of Child Health in London, and a key researcher in the British trials. "Cells that can't switch [production] off are immortalised."

Why do they want our DNA? So they can know who we are, and what lineage we are descended from.
And now (thanks to the Census taker who is cataloging the Lat/Long to the front door of everyone's house in America) they will be able to match our DNA with your street address.

For what reason?
So they know where to find us.

He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.
All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast-- all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world.
He who has an ear, let him hear.
If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. Rev 13:7-10 (NIV)

Feds want to collect DNA from people they arrest, detain
http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2008/04/feds-want-to-co.html

The U.S. government plans to begin collecting DNA samples from the cheeks of citizens who are arrested and foreigners who are detained by federal authorities, according to The Washington Post.

Right now, the feds only take DNA samples from convicted criminals.

"The move comes as 13 states ... have passed laws to include many arrestees in their DNA databanks. California, which has more than 1 million profiles, will begin collecting DNA from all felony arrestees next year," the Post reports. "The information will be uploaded to the national database, which today houses more than 5.9 million samples, making it the largest forensic DNA databank in the world."

The FBI's database of DNA is expected to grow by more 1 million individuals a year under the new policy.

National DNA database gets kickstart from feds
Tests could reveal facts 'making individual less useful to society'

With virtually no fanfare, President Bush signed into law a plan ordering the government to take no more than six months to set up a "national contingency plan" to screen newborns' DNA in case of a "public health emergency."
The new law requires that the results of the program – including "information … research, and data on newborn screening" – shall be assembled by a "central clearinghouse" and made available on the Internet

.According to congressional records, S.1858, sponsored by Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., was approved in the Senate Dec. 13, in the House April 8 and signed by Bush April 24.

"Soon, under this bill, the DNA of all citizens will be housed in government genomic biobanks and considered governmental property for government research," said Twila Brase, president of the Citizens' Council on Health Care. "The DNA taken at birth from every citizen is essentially owned by the government, and every citizen becomes a potential subject of government-sponsored genetic research.

Gordon Brown urges police to walk people home from cashpoint

In his wide-ranging speech, the prime minister defended the government's civil liberties record over the use of CCTV cameras and the decision not to immediately delete the profiles of 850,000 innocent individuals from the DNA database.

Why do Governments around the world want their citizenries DNA?
The answer to this question lies in the information that DNA yields to the researcher [listed in the article below]:

"Mitochondria are structures within cells that convert the energy from food into a form that cells can use. Although most DNA is packaged in chromosomes within the nucleus, mitochondria also have a small amount of their own DNA. This genetic material is known as mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA. In humans, mitochondrial DNA spans about 16,500 DNA building blocks (base pairs), representing a fraction of the total DNA in cells. Unlike nuclear DNA, which is inherited from both parents and in which genes are rearranged in the process of recombination, there is usually no change in mtDNA from parent to offspring. Although mtDNA also recombines, it does so with copies of itself within the same mitochondrion. Because of this and because the mutation rate of animal mtDNA is higher than that of nuclear DNA,[4] mtDNA is a powerful tool for tracking ancestry through females (matrilineage) and has been used in this role to track the ancestry of many species back hundreds of generations."

Hundreds of generations means right back to Eve, Adam's wife.
With all of the DNA catalogued and stored in one convenient global database, Govt.'s could construct a list of "whose who." Who belongs to Satan's lineage, and who are those who belong to HaMashiyach (Christ).

If you haven't done so already, don't give them your DNA.

Judge: Tasering a suspect for DNA legal if not ‘malicious’

A judge in Niagra County, New York, ruled Thursday that DNA evidence, obtained only after police applied a Taser to a suspect who refused to provide evidence against himself, may be used by the prosecution because the electric shock was not administered with malice.

Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza, with this 17-page decision, becomes “the first judge in western civilization to say you can use a Taser to enforce a court order,” defense attorney Patrick Balkin said, according to The Niagara Gazette.

“Note that if Smith is guilty, he’s a pretty bad guy,” interjected The Buffalo News. “He’s charged with shooting a man in the groin after invading his ex-girlfriend’s home, tying up her two children and forcing her to take her to the home of the man he shot. He’s also charged with the shotgun-point robbery of a Niagara Falls gas station. DNA was found at both crime scenes.”

It's now a reality:

The Bill Nobody Noticed: National DNA Databank

In April of 2008, President Bush signed into law S.1858 which allows the federal government to screen the DNA of all newborn babies in the U.S. This was to be implemented within 6 months meaning that this collection is now being carried out. Congressman Ron Paul states that this bill is the first step towards the establishment of a national DNA database.

S.1858, known as The Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2007, is justified as a "national contingency plan" in that it represents preparation for any sort of public health emergency. The bill states that the federal government should "continue to carry out, coordinate, and expand research in newborn screening" and "maintain a central clearinghouse of current information on newborn screening... ensuring that the clearinghouse is available on the Internet and is updated at least quarterly". Sections of the bill also make it clear that DNA may be used in genetic experiments and tests. Read the full bill: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bil...

If you haven't already given them your DNA, avoid doing so at all costs.
