Short Study Notes
The Rider of the White Horse
(A moment in time when HaMashiyach was missing)

[It will add a certain perspective to this reading if you first read, "A Beautiful Delusion."}

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?"
And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. Rev 5

"So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it."
There it is, in this precise moment of time, there is no one who can open the scroll,

end of the story.

No one in heaven - in an eternal body,
No one on earth - in a mortal body,
No one under the earth, who has died and is buried.

At what point in time was there ever a moment such as this?

"Yahuahshua said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Ul and your Ul.'" John 20:17 (NKJ)

This is the precise moment in time.
Yahuahshua was not dead and buried (under the earth), he was not on the earth in a mortal form (as man) neither was his immortal body alive, because he had subjected it to death, and he had not yet ascended into heaven, but there he stands - ALIVE. He had reversed the penalty of sin by subjecting his sinless immortal body to death

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." John 10:18 (NIV)

He will now present this sinless immortal body that should not have been subjected to death, to the Father, to eat from the tree of life and live forever. In other words, to receive eternal life. John captures this moment in his gospel (Chapter 20) and then sees it in person (Rev 5).

But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."

And I beheld,
(
used as imperative, Lo ! or Now!)

and, lo, (
Hebraism, to experience; passively, to appear)

in the midst of the throne (in a sudden moment of time, appearing) and [in the midst] of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Yahuah sent forth into all the earth.

And he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

And they sung a new song,

The "new song" is from the two notes missing since Creation. From the time when Adam (and his wife) and mankind (male and female) did not choose to follow  "the way" and walk in the will (reign) of Yahuah; but instead, they sinned.
Yahuahshua completed this work, and sounded these two notes (vibrations), by doing the will of Yahuah:

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,
and in this one body to reconcile both of them to Yhwh through the stake, by which he put to death their hostility. Eph 2:14-16

saying,

"You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to Yahuah by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our Ul; and we shall reign on the earth."
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever. Rev 5:9-14

When Yahuahshua took the scroll, he set into motion, "the last days." I believe the disciples understood this. A chain of events had begun which will end in the long awaited redemption of man (and the resurrection of the body).

Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see."
And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. Rev 6:1-2

The rider of this horse can only be Yahuahshua HaMashiyach*. The original Greek conveys the idea of "he went out conquering" (present progressive) as " on a conquest," "to subdue," and "get the victory;"  Then finally,  "to conquer" meaning "to overcome" and "prevail" thereby achieving the final victory (and objective).
The person who rides this horse, is the same person we see here:

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of Yahuah. Rev 19:11-13

He went out to conquer the world with his word, which has been preached in all the earth. The mission has been completed. There is nothing left to be fulfilled, to cause any delay in the opening of the second seal, which releases the red horse. In fact, it may already be happening.

[As a side note:
The Greek word for "seal" is: a signet; 5420 phrasso (fras'-so); apparently a strengthening form of the base of 5424; to fence or inclose. This is also the definition of the Hebrew word for signet 2368 chowtham (kho-thawm'); which begins with the letter "chet," (which means "fence") whose earliest known form looks like this:

Could this be the seven seals?

Something to think about....

[* In this article I wrote, "The rider of this horse can only be Yahuahshua HaMashiyach." A brother recently wrote (in an article) that this rider is the Holy Spirit. His point in making this distinction was that the person opening the seals, is standing by as a spectator. He does not open the first seal and then mount the horse. So the rider must be the Holy Spirit who wins converts by the power of his bow, without the use of arrows. This is a valid point]
